Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States. It’s affecting 40+ million adults from age 18 and older.

PTSD is fast growing in America and we have a way to help people suffering from this disability.

You may have seen stories about people having PTSD...but did you ever wonder what can be done to help them cope with these disabilities. You may personally know someone with these disorders... did you ever question how they deal with it?

Jimi Hurst of Team Support said “Our mission at Team Support is to help people with disabilities like PTSD by providing them with free therapeutic products that help them overcome their disabilities. These people are referred to us by a network of medical professionals, therapists, and first responders. The people we help cannot afford to buy these products and they really need our help.”

We are asking you to help us help them by donating to our GoFundMe page and sharing our message and our GoFundMe page at the address listed below with your friends and your social media network of people. The money we receive goes to buy these products that we, in turn, provide to people suffering from these disabilities completely free of charge.

According to Sidran Institute Traumatic Stress Education & Advocacy, an estimated 70% of adults in the United States have experienced a traumatic event at least once in their lives. This equates to approximately 223.4 million people. Up to 20% of these people go on to develop post-traumatic-stress-disorder or PTSD. As of today, that equates to approximately 44.7 million people who were or are struggling with PTSD. An estimated 8% of Americans – 24.4 million people – have PTSD at any given time. An estimated 1 out of 9 women will develop PTSD, making them about twice as likely as men to develop PTSD. Almost 50% of all outpatient mental health patients have PTSD.

Experts at the VA, estimate that up to 20% of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans, up to 10% of Gulf War veterans, and up to 30% of Vietnam War veterans have experienced PTSD. Consequently, the demand for PTSD treatment continues to grow. In the past year alone the number of diagnosed cases in the military jumped 50% and that’s only the reported and diagnosed cases. 17% of combat troops are women; 71% of female military personnel develop PTSD due to sexual assault within the ranks.
