Tarla Gernert founded Homeschool Connections Educational Services Inc. in 2002 to provide high-quality, hands-on classes for homeschoolers, starting in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Over the past 20 years, the program has expanded to multiple campuses, serving thousands of students. In 2017, she co-founded HighPointHybrid(.com), which blends homeschooling and in-person learning. Tarla has created several other programs and now mentors others in creating unique educational programs.
With a BS in Education from Liberty University, she has taught in public, private, and homeschool settings. Tarla has received several awards, including the “Marquis Lifetime Achievement” Award. Her mission is to continue working with others to develop innovative educational programs.
