-- Just under two months after launching its Phu Quoc–Hong Kong service, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has announced the opening of ticket sales for a new daily Hanoi–Hong Kong route while doubling the frequency of its Phu Quoc–Hong Kong service to two round-trip flights per day. The move marks the airline's next step in expanding connectivity between Vietnam and Hong Kong (China), one of Asia's leading financial, commercial, and aviation hubs.

Tickets for the Hanoi–Hong Kong route are now available for booking, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 30 September 2026. The outbound flight will depart Hanoi at 09:15 and arrive in Hong Kong at 12:05 (local time). The return flight will leave Hong Kong at 13:05 and land in Hanoi at 13:55 (local time).
In addition to the new Hanoi service, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has doubled the frequency of its Phu Quoc–Hong Kong route to two daily round-trip flights from 14 July. The outbound flight departs Phu Quoc at 15:30 and arrives in Hong Kong at 19:20 (local time), while the return service departs Hong Kong at 20:20 and lands in Phu Quoc at 22:10 (local time).
To celebrate the launch, the airline is offering 20% off base fares across all fare classes for bookings made via its official website or mobile app. The promotion applies to the Hanoi–Hong Kong route for bookings made from 21 July to 21 August 2026, excluding peak and special peak travel periods. Sun PhuQuoc Airways will also continue its preferential fare policies, with children paying 75% of the adult fare and passengers aged 60 and above receiving a 15% discount on standard fares.
Beyond expanding travel options, Sun PhuQuoc Airways aims to make every journey the beginning of a holiday. Across its network, the airline is progressively delivering its "Resort in the Sky" concept, offering an experience inspired by international five-star hospitality standards. Passengers can enjoy next-generation cabin interiors, the signature La Festa fragrance, wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE), complimentary checked baggage, meals tailored to each fare class, and attentive, warm service designed to ensure the vacation begins the moment they board.
The travel experience continues beyond arrival. Members of the Sun Signature loyalty programme can earn points from every flight to redeem reward tickets, baggage allowances, and seat selections, while enjoying exclusive privileges across the Sun Group ecosystem. The programme's two highest membership tiers also feature globally accepted payment benefits through partnerships with NCB and Visa, creating a seamless experience from the journey to the destination.
The new Hanoi–Hong Kong route not only provides travellers with an additional convenient travel option but also supports stronger economic, trade, and tourism exchanges between Vietnam and China. Together with the increased frequency on the Phu Quoc–Hong Kong route, the expansion represents another milestone in Sun PhuQuoc Airways' international network development strategy, with Phu Quoc serving as the airline's primary hub.
Building on this foundation, the airline will continue strengthening its presence in key regional and international markets while expanding its domestic network through a hub-and-spoke model, contributing to more diversified visitor flows to Phu Quoc Island.
In parallel with network expansion, Sun PhuQuoc Airways plans to increase its fleet to 32 aircraft in 2026 and introduce Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft into service from September. These developments will provide a strong foundation for the airline to advance its "Rise to the World" strategy, delivering international five-star service standards while further enhancing Vietnam's air connectivity with the region and the world.
