“As far as we know, we are the only company outside of China that is capable of transferring the raw materials cultured into commercial products,” he said in an interview.

Despite being fairly new company in a small region such as Singapore, the APN team remains optimistic about their place in the global competition. Though European countries like France and Switzerland are known to have impressive technologies, Dr. Xu believes that his patented cultivation technique has never been seen before, and is likely to grow into a scientific revolution not only in Asia, but in Western countries as well.

His researches and developments have made him one of the most popular figures in Asia, a proponent of unique and modern methods in fermentation of compounds.
