-- Alamo Biscuit Co., one of San Antonio’s most beloved breakfast and brunch spots, is expanding its footprint to the heart of downtown. The restaurant will open a 7,000-square-foot location at the Shops at Rivercenter, adding a new flavor to the iconic River Walk.
The new River Walk location will feature 250 seats, a spacious 1,200-square-foot patio, and a design inspired by the vibrant culture of San Antonio. Known for its Tex-Mex-influenced breakfast and brunch offerings, Alamo Biscuit Co. plans to bring its signature dishes to locals and tourists alike in the city’s most celebrated entertainment district.
“To be invited to open a location on the San Antonio River Walk is an incredible honor and a blessing,” said John Vale in an emailed statement. “In just five years, Alamo Biscuit Co. has become a part of San Antonio’s culinary fabric, and now, we’ve been given the opportunity to share our passion for great food and community in what I believe is the best location in Texas.”
Set to open in March 2025, the restaurant will serve as a cornerstone for dining at the Shops at Rivercenter, which is already home to a wide array of retail and entertainment options. Alamo Biscuit Co.’s menu will continue to feature its popular brunch items while adding new dishes tailored to its downtown clientele.
