-- ELY, NV. – Rural Nevada Development Corporation (RNDC), a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), continues expanding access to affordable small business financing in rural Nevada. Since 1992, RNDC has helped bridge financing gaps by providing flexible loan programs that support business startups, expansions, working capital, equipment purchases, and commercial property investments.

Traditional financing can be difficult for many rural businesses to obtain. RNDC's lending programs are designed to provide an alternative source of capital with fixed interest rates, flexible repayment terms, and loan amounts ranging from $500 to $250,000. These financing options help business owners invest in growth while supporting long-term economic development across Nevada's rural communities.

RNDC serves entrepreneurs throughout Nevada's 15 rural counties, the rural portions of Clark and Washoe counties, and the state's 27 federally recognized Native American Tribes. By providing access to capital where traditional lending options may be limited, the organization helps strengthen local businesses, encourage job creation, and improve economic opportunities in underserved communities.

Communities and regions served include:

  • Ely
  • Elko
  • Winnemucca
  • Battle Mountain
  • Tonopah
  • Ely and White Pine County
  • Carson Valley
  • Rural Clark County
  • Rural Washoe County
  • Nevada's rural counties and Native American Tribal communities

"Our mission is to provide financing opportunities that help rural businesses succeed while strengthening the communities they serve," said a spokesperson for Rural Nevada Development Corporation. "By expanding access to responsible lending, we help entrepreneurs create jobs, invest locally, and build stronger regional economies."

RNDC works with public and private funding partners to address capital gaps that often affect rural businesses. Its financing programs support a wide variety of industries while helping entrepreneurs secure funding for fixed assets, working capital, business expansion, and startup costs. The organization's community-based lending model continues to promote economic resilience throughout rural Nevada.

Through continued investment in rural entrepreneurship, RNDC remains committed to empowering small business owners with financing solutions that encourage innovation, business growth, and long-term community prosperity.
