-- The Roots - Foster City Leos is proud to host its 1st Annual Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at Mariners Point Golf Center in Foster City. This community event brings together golfers of all ages and skill levels for a day of fun and giving back.
The fundraiser aims to raise $30,000 to provide six $5,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the San Mateo Union High School District who are pursuing careers through trade schools.
Check-in begins at 8:00 AM with staggered tee times every 10 minutes. Players can register individually or as teams of four, with a maximum of 96 participants. The fundraiser will also feature on-course competitions, including a Longest Drive Contest for both youth and adults.
“Every swing at this event directly fuels brighter futures for hard-working students in our community,” said Dhyuti Chandrashekar, President of Roots - Foster City Leos and an avid high school golfer. “We’re investing in tomorrow’s skilled workforce.”
Registration is $80 for adults and $50 for youth under 18, with optional competition entries available. Families, beginners, and seasoned golfers alike are encouraged to participate. You can register directly at rootsfclc.com.
