Robin Robins has reached her lifetime goal of raising 1 million dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. —
“St. Jude saves lives; it is an incredible organization,” said Robin Robins, CEO of Technology Marketing Toolkit.
Over 850 people attended Robins’ annual Boot Camp in Orlando, FL this year with proceeds directly benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The decision to choose St. Jude as the beneficiary was made by Robins in late spring as she felt called to raise money for this charity she holds so closely to her heart.
Her goal of 1 million dollars was to be reached by the end of the year. However, with the combined generosity of her amazing community members and the kindness of Marcus Lemonis, the goal was ultimately met that very day.
Robin decided to raise money for St. Jude after hearing about the shooter who entered Sandy Hook Elementary school and took so many young lives. As a new mom, this impacted her especially as she wondered if her own child would be safe at the preschool she had chosen.
“I couldn’t bring back the lives of the children who were gone, but I could help to save the life of another as a way of preventing another parent or family from experiencing something no parent should ever experience: the loss of their child,” said Robin Robins.
