-- QuillBot is seeking testers to add to their team to help with the development of new, cutting-edge technologies. Testers will gain access to the company’s testing site and new features that have yet to be properly tested by the community. Testers will be expected to report bugs and provide feedback to developers.
QuillBot will supply a link to all accepted testers that will gain access to a company-run test site. The test site will include features that the development team has incorporated to provide feedback and report bugs. Email links are sent to testers when new versions of QuillBot are available for testing.
"We have been engaging in heavy research and development these last few months, spearheaded by our new CTO, Dave Silin. We are confident that we can now take this technology to innovative and interesting places," explains the QuillBot team.
QuillBot is planning on introducing advanced functions and features. The bot can engage in aggressive permutations that allow users to change sentences with advanced refinement. The end goal is for the tool to provide human-level paraphrasing with the help of community testers that provide valuable feedback to the team to push updates through faster.
Grammar correction technology is improving with the bot learning from each grammar issue. The algorithm and data collected by QuillBot allow the application to improve the quality of the writing input into the app automatically. QuillBot’s grammar correction advancements may lead to the company entering the grammar market in the future.
Testers will be responsible for helping QuillBot correct algorithm issues faster, allowing for a more streamlined approach to update deployment.
Adaptive paraphrasing is also being introduced to allow for paraphrasing that will turn English into Old English or even slang to offer a level of sophistication to paraphrasing that only human paraphrasing has been able to offer.
