For years, travelers had to accept mediocre or non-existent in-room hotel coffee. The Pakt Coffee Kit is the world’s first coffee brewing kit designed for travel complete with an electric kettle. With all of the components of the classic pour over brewing method in one sleek package, users can take it anywhere they go — and never drink a bad cup while traveling again. They can also cut down on waste from using disposable coffee cups.
“There are lots of options for making coffee when camping and using a gas stove, but until now, there hasn’t been anything suitable for hotel-style travel that you could fly with,” says Pakt Founder and Creative Director Malcolm Fontier on the inspiration behind the project. “From an electric kettle for hot water to a container for your beans to a travel mug, we covered everything. As long as you have access to water and electricity, you can make barista-quality coffee anywhere you go.”
The Pakt Coffee Kit consists of a 4-piece set that includes a handheld electric kettle, a collapsible dripper, a travel mug and a coffee container. Multiple design innovations make it compact and travel-friendly. While most other kit options are fragile or bulky, the Pakt Coffee Kit was designed from the ground up to hold up. Like nesting Russian dolls, each component of the kit fits inside the next larger one. The innovative nesting design means the kit travels securely and silently -- no rattling or broken parts in transit.
The Kit is suitable for use in hotels, Airbnbs, hostels, tiny homes, the office, or when staying with friends and family that don’t appreciate coffee the way you do. It weighs less than four pounds with a total footprint equal to about a pair of shoes in a suitcase.
