-- Noblehouse Family Office, the multifamily office led by Principal and Head of Family Office Mekkos Jones, has extended its reach to client families across 19 states and Washington, D.C. The firm serves families with $5 million to $50 million or more in investable assets through one coordinated team of investment, tax, estate, trust, and banking specialists.
Texas, Florida, California, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Connecticut hold the largest concentrations of Noblehouse families. The firm also serves families in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington State, Colorado, Illinois, New Hampshire, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington, D.C.

“Protecting a generational legacy should not require a $100 million fortune,” said Jones.
The number of family offices has grown quickly in North America. Deloitte Private estimated 2,210 single-family offices in the region in 2019 and 3,180 in 2024, and projects 4,190 by 2030. Those offices serve fortunes large enough to carry a dedicated staff. A March 2026 guide from BNY Wealth notes that families with $250 million or more typically establish one.
Families short of that threshold face the same questions about tax, estates, and succession without a coordinated team. Cerulli Associates projects that $124 trillion in wealth will transfer through 2048, with $62 trillion coming from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth households, which make up 2% of households. Noblehouse was built for the families in that group who fall below the threshold for a single-family office of their own.
According to the firm, true multifamily office service has been reserved since the 1980s for families with $100 million or more. Today that threshold holds at both the largest multifamily offices and the private banking arms of major Wall Street firms. Below that level, families typically work with an attorney, a CPA, a wealth manager, and a banker who do not coordinate with one another. Noblehouse calls the cost of those gaps "leakage." The firm’s leakage assessment, which returns a directional estimate for each family, places that cost between $50,000 and $400,000 a year, driven by tax planning done once a year, outdated estate documents, unquestioned investment fees, and banking relationships that were never priced.
“Most families have advisors. Almost none have an architecture,” Jones said.
Noblehouse professional network brings together Enrolled Agents and CPAs, attorneys, institutional trust administration with trustee and co-trustee services, banking specialists, and a physician-led medical network through the firm’s Private Health Office. Each is a named member of the network, and each works from one integrated plan for each family. New clients begin with a Private Briefing, move to a Financial Architecture Review that measures leakage across tax, investment, estate, insurance, banking, and coordination, and finish with a Family Architecture Session in which the team turns the review into a working plan.
Its clients include business owners before and after a sale, physicians and practice owners, corporate executives with concentrated stock, real estate principals, multigenerational families, and heirs.
Jones founded Noblehouse after more than two decades across private capital strategy, private credit, structured real estate investment, risk management, and wealth planning. He was an executive at Catalyst Capital, where he directly managed a team responsible for more than $1 billion in private capital, credit, and real estate projects, and held institutional roles at Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments.
“One coordinated team, one integrated plan,” Jones said. “The gaps close, and the leakage stops.”
