-- IMCWire - An innovative project aims to purchase a sparsely inhabited territory and establish a modern, technological country there, envisioned as a tourist destination comparable to Dubai or Singapore. The major highlight of this new nation will be its system of government: Corporarchy.
The creator of the Taured World project, Brazilian J. Helios, argues: “If families can govern countries, as currently happens with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Brunei, why couldn’t a corporation govern a country?”
The proposed system breaks away from traditional models of government. In the Corporarchy, the State is the Corporation and the Corporation is the State. The Head of State also serves as the nation’s president and the corporation’s chairman, while the Head of Government is the prime minister and CEO, responsible for the executive administration of the country.
“This is a technocratic model that combines business efficiency with political independence. It will be the first private State in the world. However, we do not intend to change the government of any country, but rather to develop a prototype, a model of governance for the society of the future that will be structured around humanity’s most advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, quantum computing, etc.,” explains J. Helios.
The initial phase of the Taured World project materializes in the creation of a micronation and the NFT collection “The Lords of Taured”, launched on the OpenSea platform. There are 10,000 generative digital avatars in PFP (Profile for Picture) style, designed with a steampunk aesthetic in aristocratic attire. Each NFT represents a Founding Lord, and whoever holds this token in their wallet can consider themselves one of the first citizens of the future Nation of Taured.
The collection was created on the Ethereum blockchain, and 2,500 NFTs are being distributed for free. Once these are sold out, additional NFT packages will be progressively offered, following a pricing schedule set by the organizers.
According to J. Helios: “Owning a Lord NFT means not only having an exclusive digital artwork, but also becoming an active part of the foundation of a model of national governance that will go down in history.”
The next phase will take place after the financial resources from the NFT sales are raised, when a complete business plan will be prepared to present to future investors. The plan will cover aspects such as economically viable regions to be purchased, acquisition prices, national constitution, infrastructure and urban planning for the capital, resort projects, creation of a blockchain, cryptocurrency, and the citizen token for the first residents of the new country.
“Our project is consistent, enduring, and long-term. We want to found a prosperous country whose capital will be futuristic, served by many robots, with all public services automated, entirely managed and operated by artificial intelligence, oriented toward tourism and leisure, but also established as a scientific and technological reference center,” envisions J. Helios.
