If anyone who are wishing to be an officially nominated HSR, this 5-day comprehensive course is mandatory training. HSR's are further required to do the refresher course every year to ensure their knowledge is current and up to date.
The HSR training course aims to familiarise participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil their role as Health and Safety Representatives within organisations as set down in the NEW National Harmonisation legislation as detailed in section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
Urban eLearning Director Peter Cutforth stated: "The new course provides a comprehensive and user-friendly means for potential HSR's to complete this course through our five-day face to face offering, or for existing HSR's to do their refresher conveniently in our 1-day course."
"With a lot of media attention lately on the importance of OH&S issues in the workplace, particularly high risk workplaces, like construction sites and health care facilities, this HSR course is an important addition to our suite of compliance courses, and particularly complements our entry level safety induction course for the construction industry found at WhiteCardOnline.com.au," he said.
