-- Nawarh Faran, Corporate Quality and Patient Safety Director at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, was honored with the “Excellence In Healthcare Award” at the Health 2.0 Conference. The three-day global healthcare event was held from December 8–10, 2025, at the InterContinental DFC in Dubai. The award acknowledges her two decades of contribution to advancing patient safety, quality governance, and large-scale healthcare improvement initiatives.
Nawarh Faran, Director of Corporate Quality & Patient Safety, is a pioneering Saudi healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience. A top graduate of Saudi Arabia’s first respiratory care bachelor’s cohort, she shaped the field through education and system improvements, leading the largest Respiratory Care team outside North America at King Faisal Specialist Hospital.
As the first Saudi Ambassador for the Patient Safety Movement Foundation and an ACHE member, she champions patient safety. Nawarh holds an MBA, a Cleveland Clinic leadership fellowship, and multiple certifications. She led pivotal projects like Tele ICU and patient safety frameworks, earning national awards. Currently, she drives quality and patient safety at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group.
Reflecting on the recognition, she shared, “A key principle that have always guided my journey is that you should always do the best you can with the best you have, small incremental steps will eventually get you where you want to be.”
