Marketing Heroes and Chris Hunter are pleased to announce that two professionals associated with the company have become certified in — Google AdWords and Google Search Advertising. Sarah Gauthier-Gardner and Marisol Hernandez have put in the hours of studying and preparation for the certification exams and have completed the examinations with a passing score. The AdWords certification exams are designed to test knowledge of online advertising best practices and AdWords. They are required to become AdWords certified.
To become AdWords certified, it is necessary to pass two of the Google AdWords certification exams. The AdWords Fundamentals exam and one additional exam from the following:
Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, Video Advertising, or Shopping Advertising. The AdWords Fundamentals exam covers basic and intermediate concepts, including the benefits of online advertising and AdWords, and best practices for managing and optimizing AdWords campaigns.

Your new specialization recognizes that Marketing Heroes has demonstrated expertise and sustained client performance in search advertising. Use it to help win new business and differentiate your company based on your particular skill set. Your Google Partner Search profile will update automatically to show your business's specializations to new clients. You'll also find all you need to your account to update your badge on your website and marketing materials.
AdWords certification exams are designed to test knowledge of basic and advanced online advertising concepts, including value proposition of online advertising, campaign setup, and management, measurement and optimization. The Shopping Advertising exam is available in Chinese (simplified), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (US and UK), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
Before taking the exams, it is recommended to gain on-the-job experience using AdWords. Applicants must also be Google Partners. The candidate must be familiar with online advertising concepts and best practices and should have experience managing different type of AdWords campaigns. For each of the exams, study guides are available at the Google Partners Help Center. The study guides cover the various topics for each of the testing exams.
The exams have a time limit, either 120 minutes or 90 minutes, depending upon the particular subject. In each instance, a passing score of 80 percent is required. Tests may be retaken after eight days if needed. Having become certified, the professionals are better able to assist clients to achieve better revenues.
