About MakePadMakePad is a unique tablet for kids that help teach essential STEM skills. Kids can use their sense of touch to put together the tablet- based on a Raspberry Pi. Not only do the children put together MakePad, but they can also use it as a tablet to take specialized learning courses. MakePad has a touchscreen display and doesn’t require internet access for use.
Pricing and Availability
MakePad is available to back now on KickStarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the device is set to produce and ship to all backers by October 2018. The starting price for one unit is $164 USD.
