A purebred Labrador Retriever breeder in Ontario, Canada donates $5000 to help fund a service dog trainer program.

Ontario, Canada. Lucky Labs is one of the foremost Labrador Retriever breeders in the Ontario area. They are normally known for breeding a wide variety of purebred Labradors, with a firm focus on health, intelligence, and temperament. However, the company has recently been in the news for its generous charitable donation to Watch My 6 Service Dogs. This is a training program that’s specifically designed to help train, raise, and place service dogs to military veterans, police officers, nurses, and various other first responders.

Lucky Labs has just donated a substantial $5000 towards the program, helping the organization cover some of the many costs associated with training service dogs. It’s the latest in a long line of charitable donations by the Ontario breeders, and there is more to come.

Funding a meaningful program

The Watch My 6 Service Dogs program is one with a clear purpose. Operating out of Petawawa, it looks to provide education and training for both individuals and service dogs. In the past, Lucky Labs has worked with the organization, donating many Labrador Retrievers to be trained as part of the program.

This recent financial donation is believed to help the non-profit organization fund some of the essential costs of the program. It’s hoped that the money can cover things like vaccinations, food, grooming, and training.

No veteran left behind

Moreover, this is not the end of Lucky Lab’s generosity. They pledge to donate $10,000 a year to veterans and first responders in need. These donations come in the form of financial packages and service dogs. It’s part of the company’s mission to turn no veterans away and ensure that they get the support and help they need.

In fact, the breeders have their own program that looks to place free service dogs in as many homes as possible. They also strive to continue supporting other programs that help to train service dogs. Anyone can donate to the Lucky Labs program, which will then be used to help other organizations like Watch My 6 Service Dogs. 100% of donations go towards these causes and help veterans and other first responders get highly-trained service dogs that improve their quality of life.
