A founder may keep strategy in a notebook, leads in spreadsheets and finances in a separate application. Many also buy a CRM (customer relationship management software), a scheduler, a course platform and an AI tool, then use only a fraction of each. The founder becomes the only system holding the business together.
“Clarity creates freedom,” said Babs. “When a founder is clear about who they are and what is theirs to do, the business can reflect it.”
How the Business Command Audit Works
The audit begins with three assessments named Brain, Soul and Profit. Together they score the business across 12 dimensions: Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Team, Systems, Leadership, Vision, Product, Client Experience, Legal and Sustainability. It also scores 8 customer journey pillars: Customer Acquisition, Sales Journey, Onboarding, Support, Communication, Fulfillment, Internal Process and Culture, and Referral.
The results produce one health score and one list of next steps. A coach reads the same numbers the client sees, so coaching rests on the actual score, not a guess. The Suite then generates a Business Plan, Marketing Plan and Sales Plan, a guided first 30 days, a daily task list and a weekly coaching rhythm. The CRM, email campaigns, bookings, finance, projects and e-signature tools live in the same place.
Software With a Guide
Software alone gives a founder a login without direction. Babs coaches her clients herself, so no founder receives a tool without a guide. Her approach is to simplify the complex, honor the founder behind the business and make the next aligned action obvious.

Alignment as a Daily Practice
Babs does not treat alignment as something a founder stumbles into once circumstances become easier. In her view, it is something a founder designs and then runs daily, especially when the path looks different than expected. One aligned action at a time, taken steadily, is how she believes a business becomes enduring. She describes the work as being in command rather than in a hurry, and built for legacy rather than a quick fix.
“I don’t need a perfect wing, a windless day, or the entire flight plan,” said Babs. “I need enough clarity to recognize the next right movement, and enough courage to extend my wings into it.”
Built for Resilience
In October 2022, a stroke left Babs quadriplegic. She continues to coach, create, write, lead and speak, with her service dog, Beau, beside her. It is why she builds for resilience.
In her Newsweek piece, Babs argued that resilience is a survival skill rather than a life purpose, and that praise for endurance can become a burden when it encourages people to stay strong while neglecting their actual needs. A company that depends entirely on one exhausted person is not resilient, however determined that person may be.
“A butterfly can keep flying with a damaged wing, not because gravity disappeared, but because it learns to renegotiate with the air,” said Babs.
Her signature: Head up, wings out. “Head up is remembering who I am before circumstance tries to tell me who I am. Wings out is finding the lift available at this moment: more glide and less flapping.”
