Lidalyn Salde Honored With The “Excellence in Education Award” At Education 2.0 Conference, Spring Edition

For her efforts in remote instruction and inclusive learning, Lidalyn Salde was distinguished at the global education conference in Las Vegas.

-- Lidalyn Salde, a Remote Learning Instructor at Tucson International Academy, has been named a recipient of the “Excellence In Education Award” at the Education 2.0 Conference 2026, held from April 7–9, 2026, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, USA. The conference brings together educators, innovators, and thought leaders to explore developments in education and recognize contributions that influence learning practices.

Crossing cultures to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences for students around the world, Lidalyn Salde is a Remote Learning Instructor at Tucson International Academy with 18 years of experience in education. She spent 16 years in Thailand as a Teacher and Administrator in charge of the elementary department, leading curriculum implementation and supporting faculty development.

In her current role, she develops lesson plans, designs assessments, and offers targeted support to help students thrive online. Guided by a mission to create accessible and

empowering learning for every student, she uses differentiated instruction, cross-cultural communication, and educational technology. Outside her professional role, Lidalyn enjoys painting and fitness training.

Upon receiving the award, Lidalyn shared, “I am deeply honored to receive the Excellence In Education Award at the Education 2.0 Conference. This recognition is incredibly meaningful, as it reflects the heart and 18 years of commitment I’ve poured into my journey. My sincere thanks to Tucson International Academy for the opportunity to serve and grow, and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I will continue to serve with excellence and give my very best to the world of education. For me, an educator’s heart is a compass: across eighteen years and many borders, I’ve learned our work is to turn students’ differences into their greatest strengths and to transform the classroom into a true, global connection.”

Lidalyn’s recognition reflects her work in developing lesson plans, designing assessments, and supporting academic progress in remote learning environments. Her experience with curriculum implementation and educational technology contributed to the award selection. Through her continued focus on inclusive education practices, she supports learners through structured instruction and adaptable teaching methods, reflecting an ongoing effort to address diverse student needs while maintaining consistency in academic delivery.
