-- LEWIS Access, the UK manufacturer of aluminium scaffold towers, formerly Towers & Sanders Ltd, has introduced a bright orange finish for its aluminium stabilisers. The upgrade is designed to make the base of a tower easier to see, helping workers and others nearby notice the stabilisers and the footprint of the scaffold.
Stabilisers extend beyond the base of a tower, which makes them easy to overlook on busy sites and shared walkways. The orange finish makes them stand out from a distance, so people can better judge where the tower’s footprint ends.

The stabilisers keep the same aluminium construction as the standard range and are manufactured in LEWIS Access’s facility. The upgrade changes only how visible they are. It is aimed at sites where clearer visibility of access equipment is useful.
Key features of the upgrade:
Bright orange finish for high visibility on site
Same aluminium construction as the standard stabilisers
Manufactured in LEWIS Access’s facility
Suited to sites where clearer visibility of access equipment is useful
As with any access equipment, the stabilisers should be used as part of appropriate site planning and safe working procedures.
The orange stabiliser upgrade has been available for the past few weeks at scaffold-tower.co.uk and by contacting the LEWIS Access team on 0800 043 2222.
