New York City attorney, — Ross Abelow, is pleased to announce the launch of a Go Fund Me campaign to help the animal shelters in New York City provide homeless animal support. The campaign was launched on January 13 with a goal of providing $5000 to benefit shelters in the City. Record cold temperatures have been the norm this winter and homeless animals particularly are at risk when they have no shelter from the bitterly cold weather.
The purpose of the campaign is to supply money to the shelters to help pay for medical care, vaccines, blankets and food for the growing number of distressed animals. Many of the shelters are unable to add to their numbers due to lack of funds and lack of space. The additional funds raised by the campaign will help to relieve some of the sufferings of these vulnerable animals.
Mr. Abelow elected to spearhead the campaign to raise money for animal shelters in New York City as part of his involvement with the community. The attorney is a partner in the law firm of Abelow & Cassandro LLP. He specializes in family law, entertainment law and commercial litigation and also is active in writing for legal blogs and his personal blog. He is active on social media sites such as Facebook and Mashable, as well.
Animal lovers can help with the large and growing need during the winter season. Many helpless animals are left out in the cold weather due to lack of space and other financial resources. Mr. Ross Abelow has established a campaign to prevent animal deaths and to help maintain more animals in shelters. The money raised will go to shelters in needs of operating funds to provide services and space for animals who are otherwise left on their own to become sickened, hungry and cold.
