"Las Vegas is one of the world's most popular places to get married, and our little chapel stands far above every other venue in terms of its fame, personality, and history," said Dan Vallance, Director of Operations for the Little Church of the West. "There is no better way to ensure a truly memorable ceremony than to have it at the Little Church of the West, the only free-standing wedding chapel on the Las Vegas Strip. Our packages and add-ons make it easier and more affordable than most would believe to have a wedding or vow renewal ceremony at this historic, world-famous chapel. From the simplest and most intimate of ceremonies to lavish VIP experiences, we have packages to suit any couple and budget."
Designed to resemble a typical pioneer-era church, the Little Church of the West was constructed from cedar and California redwood at the New Frontier Hotel and Casino in 1942. Twelve years later, the entire chapel was relocated from the north to the south side of the site, with another move to the Hacienda Resort Hotel and Casino following in 1979. Upon the closure of that property in 1996, the Little Church of the West was transferred to its current location at 4617 Las Vegas Boulevard South.
Over the course of its 75-plus years in existence, the Little Church of the West has hosted dozens of high-profile celebrity weddings and has maintained the same charm and character that have made it the top choice for so many other couples. The first freestanding wedding chapel to be built on the Las Vegas Strip, the Little Church of the West is also the only one of its kind today. With new wedding and vow renewal packages joining the many favorites detailed at the Little Church of the West website, couples are invited to make reservations of their own.
