CEO of KickFire Marketing, has received an invitation to judge the Startup Weber! competition. Page enthuses, “I bleed purple--Is there a better way to give back than to pay it forward? It’s an awesome responsibility and great honor to advise Weber State University students in this competition.”
According to Weber’s website, “Startup Weber! is an all day competition held on April 18th, 2015 and starts at 9am and lasts until about 5pm. This year's theme is 'Recreation.' Current Weber State University students can bring an idea for a recreation-based business or come join a team to help develop an idea. The purpose is to see how far teams can take a new business within a day. We will also be bringing in founders and executives from recreation companies, to help each student team develop its idea and pitch. The winning team will receive $10,000 towards starting their business!”
Dave Noack, entrepreneurship center director, says, “Startup Weber! provides students with the opportunity to collaborate in a team setting, as well as receive constructive feedback from prominent local entrepreneurs and executives.”
As a Weber State University alumna and valedictorian of her class, entrepreneur, and outdoor enthusiast, Page’s excitement is evident, “I was so grateful when Amy Hirschi, from The Hall Global Entrepreneurship Center at Weber State University, contacted me and extended an invitation to be a judge. In the past year I’ve had incredible opportunities to give back to my alma mater; I love marketing and want to give these young entrepreneurs and future business owners direction, feedback, and advice based on my personal experiences building successful companies.”
In the last year, Page has shared her professional expertise and experience at Weber State as a speaker at the Nye Lecture Series and mentor for Opportunity Quest. An ardent “Go-Giver,” Page believes, “We are compensated in accordance with the value we give.” As a highly sought after marketing consultant who specializes in creating customized, laser-beam focused marketing campaigns, Page prides herself on finding unique solutions that generate real results for both customers and worthy causes.
When she's not busy consulting, speaking or teaching marketing boot camps around the nation, Page can be found playing with her children, mountain biking, road biking, longboarding, baking, playing basketball, tennis or any sport, and reading self-improvement books.
Oh, and she's also super serious about maintaining a meticulous lawn.
