The Drug Rehab Scholarship is awarded to anyone seeking drug and alcohol treatment. They also are given to people who may have current mental health conditions. The scholarship deadlines are as follows: November 7, 2017, December 7, 2017, and January 7, 2018. "With the current opioid epidemic our country is facing, along with health insurance being a challenge to so many lately, we wanted to do our part to help save lives," says Adam Hochberg, Director of Marketing for Just Believe Recovery.
In addition to the current scholarship offers, four have already been awarded to individuals currently in their treatment programs. One of the scholarship recipients was Monica D., a mother of four who happens to be struggling with addiction.
According to Monica, "I'm just so grateful to have this wonderful chance to receive this scholarship." She went on to say, "You don't know how much this means to my family and friends."
Details for the scholarships include a Free Detox and Treatment for 30 days. While many will wonder if they will receive the help they need, the fears are typically unfounded. However, one thing scholarship recipients must keep in mind is that they have to cover their own travel expenses to and from treatment. They'll have to complete an obligatory application form, write a personal essay, and should include a letter from a therapist and family member/friend who can explain how this scholarship will impact their lives.
