Juno, the pioneering blockchain-as-a-service platform, has announced its proposal to transition into a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) through a Service Nervous System (SNS).
With over 1,200 developers leveraging Juno to deploy apps seamlessly on the Internet Computer, Juno's innovative platform offers developers the tools to efficiently build decentralized applications (dApps) with features akin to renowned Web2 providers, yet with the added benefits of decentralization, privacy, and ownership. Through this DAO, Juno seeks to raise funds to further its mission of providing a comprehensive, blockchainless environment that strengthens developers' autonomy.
The proposal marks the commencement of transforming Juno’s ecosystem by submitting it to the Internet Computer’s governance (NNS) for approval. This democratic process allows developers and stakeholders to influence the future of Juno by voting on the proposal. If approved, the subsequent ICO will decentralize ownership and raise funds to support the governance structure and expansion of Juno's decentralized ecosystem.
