Jointly Painting a New Beautiful Picture of the Silk Road, Award Ceremony of the Fourth Silk Road International Youth Photography and Short Video Competition & Launch Ceremony of the Fifth Edition Successfully Held

-- On November 18, the Award Ceremony of the Fourth Silk Road International Youth Photography and Short Video Competition and the Launch Ceremony of the Fifth Edition were held at Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center.

Since its inception, the Fourth Silk Road International Youth Photography and Short Video Competition has attracted global attention with its extensive international reach and youthful creativity, sparking enthusiastic responses both at home and abroad. It received a total of 2,819 entries from 70 countries and regions across five continents, including submissions from all ten ASEAN nations, many of which were remarkable and outstanding. In the four categories, 152 awards were presented, including 12 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 40 third prizes, and 80 honorable mentions. The organizing committee also recognized outstanding instructors and organizations. These works not only bring together youthful perspectives that transcend national borders, showcasing a picture of cultural integration and mutual learning, but also transport audiences through time and space into the profound hall of human civilization, vividly demonstrating the cultural exchange connotations and contemporary vitality of the Silk Road spirit.

At the event, the Fifth Silk Road International Youth Photography and Short Video Competition was officially launched. With the theme of "Youthful Voices Echo Through the Silk Road," the Competition strongly encourages more young people from different countries and regions to trace the imprints of the Silk Road through their lenses, present the beauty of diverse civilizations, and jointly write a new chapter of Silk Road cooperation. During the event, representatives of the award winners embarked on a unique "Journey of Seeking Blessings," visiting iconic sites in Fuzhou such as the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Yantaishan, Kuliang, and Mawei Shipbuilding. They experienced firsthand Fuzhou's profound cultural heritage and felt the city's vibrant development vitality. Through exchanges, young people from various countries further deepened their friendships and jointly wrote a youthful chapter that transcends national borders.
