With nearly 15 years of experience in data analytics, databases, IoT, and streaming, Jobin has established himself as a formidable force in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Partner Engineering Lead for Data Analytics at Google, he has been instrumental in redefining how key customers and partners of Google leverage data. His strategic and collaborative approach has led to the successful implementation of large-scale data analytics solutions across various cloud platforms.
Jobin’s role at Google involves overseeing technical partnerships with over 120 individual software vendors (ISVs) and managing relationships with thousands of partner individuals, from C-suite executives to engineers. His notable achievements include the launch of public-facing initiatives such as Google Cloud Ready for BigQuery, AlloyDB, and Cloud SQL, collectively attracting hundreds of ISV partners to collaborate on Google Cloud.
His outstanding performance earned him multiple accolades and awards within the company, reflecting his consistent delivery of results and performance. Jobin also spearheaded major initiatives such as the launch of BigQuery Partner Center, Spanner Databoost and BigQuery Continuous Queries, significantly enhancing partner collaboration and integration.
Before joining Google, Jobin held critical roles at AWS as a Senior Partner Solutions Architect, where he facilitated successful AWS implementations for leading ISVs, such as Cloudera, Confluent, Informatica, Teradata and Snaplogic. His technical expertise in architecture and implementation has been pivotal in driving the successful deployment of analytics solutions on AWS. Jobin George possesses a deep understanding of cloud architecture, enabling him to design robust, scalable systems that meet the complex demands of modern data environments.
Jobin’s commitment to thought leadership is evident through his authorship of over 50 technical blogs and his participation in more than 35 speaking engagements at major conferences and events. He has represented Google at prominent events, including Google Cloud Next 2023 & 2024, Collibra Data Citizens 2022 as well as Denodo DataFest 2023, where he has shared insights on data analytics, AI and cloud technologies.
His career journey also includes significant contributions at NetGear, Hortonworks, Wipro and TCS where he played a vital role in developing big data platforms and ensuring end customer success through high-quality services. His leadership in execution at NetGear earned him the “Aspire Award Q3 2018” for his exemplary contributions.
