João Ascenso is a distinguished social psychologist renowned for his expertise in organizational behavior, leadership, and social neuroscience, with over 20 years of experience bridging academia and industry. João’s impressive credentials include training at world-leading institutions such as MIT, Cambridge University, University of Michigan, Oxford University, Wharton Business School, and Weatherhead School of Management at Case University.
João is presently the CEO of Business and Human Prosperity, Chief Scientific Advisor (CSA) for Climate-Health Positive Mental Health Interventions at Duke University in China, and a member of the Lancet Commission for Climate Change and Global Mental Health.
