--The purpose of this feature is to provide anonymized audience analytics for digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. It functions by processing images in real time for a matter of milliseconds to estimate aggregated demographic data—such as approximate age group or gender. This process is entirely anonymous, conducted locally on-device, and does not involve facial recognition, identification of individuals, or the storage or sharing of any images.
As of March 2024, all Invenda-powered smart vending machines include clear and prominent informational notices. These notices are designed to ensure users are fully informed about the nature and purpose of any data processing prior to engagement. This reflects Invenda’s continued alignment with global data protection regulations and privacy standards, including FIPPA, PIPEDA, and GDPR.
