-- On 6 May, the Church of Scientology South Africa, known as Castle Kyalami hosted a fascinating International Peace Summit, convening over 250 esteemed dignitaries from around the world. The event brought together a diverse assembly of leaders, including Members of Parliament from South Africa and Ghana, United Nations Ambassadors, Ambassadors, national and provincial government officials, religious leaders, and business executives. Delegates traveled from South America, Ghana, Cape Town and more to participate in this momentous occasion.
The International Peace Summit was a collaborative effort between the International Ambassadors of Peace Network (partnered with the United Nations) and the Church of Scientology. The keynote address, delivered by the Church, presented the Scientology Tools for Life film, "How to Resolve Conflicts." The audience was deeply impressed, with many attendees enrolling in the "Conflict Resolution" Tools for Life course on the spot. Additional addresses were made by prominent leaders, further enriching the discourse.
The event culminated in a special recognition ceremony, where L. Ron Hubbard was posthumously awarded a Citation of Appreciation from the International Ambassadors of Peace Network, naming him an Honorary Peace Ambassador.
Dignitaries praised the event, with the Ambassador of Suriname remarking, "The Peace Summit would not have been possible without the Church of Scientology. Thank you for this initiative."
The representative from the High Commissioner of Ghana office stated, "This has been the most empowering summit I have ever attended. This should be a regular occurrence so we can foster peace."
A former Member of Parliament from South Africa expressed admiration for the event's organization and professionalism, saying, "I am shocked by the level of care and professionalism I have seen here. This is what we need to be doing as a country to create a more peaceful environment."
The International Peace Ambassadors unanimously declared the Church as the official host of the Annual Peace Summit for South Africa, solidifying a lasting partnership for global unity and peace.
