Jim Allender, Broker/Owner of Sherzer & Associates is now expanding. After several years of learning the ropes of selecting the best products, and offering and quoting insurance, and while establishing personal relationships with vendors, customers and the community, Jim is now working on growing the agency. Jim Allender, a Florida resident for 20 years, is successfully combining old-school networking skills with new marketing methods.In the last year, Jim has introduced a new website and implemented social media into his business, which has been embraced by his youthful staff as well as customers of all ages. Jim even put up a life-size paper doll "Flo" as seen in the Progressive Insurance ads that allows visitors and customers alike to snap a photo of themselves and Flo with their smart phone and post it on social media accounts for the chance to win prizes for the best photo. The latest marketing coup is the installation of three new bill boards in strategic locations in the Daytona Beach area in cooperation with a prime insurance vendor, Infinity Insurance. The ad features a retro-styled young girl getting gas at rising prices while keeping her insurance rates low. The ad has already raised awareness and gotten the phones to ring.
In addition, Jim has grown his staff and is planning further marketing moves to grow his customer base as one of the premier independent insurance brokerages in the community and Volusia County.
Sherzer & Associates has been in business and in the same location since 1979 and offers home insurance, auto insurance and commercial insurance products from multiple established insurance providers.
