Infected is a fun, contagious card game. Battle your friends and family in a contagious game of containing the world spread. You have been selected as your country's brightest and finest to overcome the spreading pandemic over the land. Infected allows for 2-6 players ages 10 and up. It takes about 20 minutes to play and is fun for family and friends.
Each player randomly picks a Country Card and the remainder of the country cards are set aside. Each player is then dealt 5 cards from the draw pile. Each turn you have to take 1 of 5 actions: place a matching pair of healthy cards in your bunker, place an infected card in Quarantine, put a single resource card in your bunker, use one of the 4 resource cards, put a healthy card in quarantine.
The game ends when the draw pile is exhausted, at which time each player may take one last turn to get points in the Bunker. Any remaining cards in your hand must be sent straight to quarantine. The winner is decided by counting the total points in quarantine and deducting them from your total points in your Bunker.
Infected is fun, fast and easy to learn. It's a great stand alone game, or a perfect primer to get the room in the mood for a long play game afterward. It's great to play with a bunch of dudes, gals, a mix of both, or even with kids.
Pricing and Availability
Infected is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by October 2020. The starting price for one Infected card game is $13 USD.
