-- On 10 September 2026, Go Study Global Education, in collaboration with IF Language School, held the Indonesia–China Education–Industry Collaboration Summit 2026 in Jakarta at Grha Diktisaintek. Go Study Global Education and IF Language School invited higher education leaders and industry representatives from Indonesia and China to take part, bringing together 150 Indonesian universities and 20 Chinese industry players for a full day of dialogue, matchmaking, and exhibition aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries' higher education and industrial sectors.

The day opened with remarks from Mr. Niu Liangliang, Chief Representative of the Indonesia Representative Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade on aligning Indonesian higher education with China's industrial needs. A panel discussion on building trust between industry and universities followed, featuring perspectives from both a major Chinese engineering firm represented by Mr. Yordhi Rachmatdian from China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau and a leading Indonesian university, Prof. Kuwat Triyana from Universitas Gadjah Mada.

At the heart of the summit was its matchmaking format: 20 Chinese invested enterprises hosted booths for one-on-one discussions and technology exchange sessions with Indonesian institutions, giving universities a direct line to potential partners for internships, joint research, and technology transfer. During the meetings, participants exchanged views on the China-ASEAN Industry-Education Integration “Core” Initiative and the application of courses from the China-ASEAN Technical Education Cooperation Platform, with discussions focusing on student selection, internships, employment pathways, and curriculum resources.

In the afternoon, the Indonesia–China Talent Expo 2026 drew participation from 100 Indonesian universities with more than 200 students and alumnies, becoming a large-scale showcase connecting Indonesian talent with opportunities tied to Chinese industry.

Taken together, these figures reflect the scale of the day's ambition; universities and industry players brought together under one roof, moving from policy dialogue to hands-on connection. The work now continues as institutions and companies follow up on the relationships formed, turning a day of conversation into formal, lasting agreements.
