At their industry seminar, iBULe showcased their pioneering work with relaxor-based piezoelectric single crystals like PMN-PT and PIN-PMN-PT. "This bandwidth leap translates into remarkably longer range resolution for detecting targets as well as capturing discriminating features for enhanced classification."

The increased transducer sensitivity from the highly electromechanically coupled single crystals boosts sonar system detection capabilities. Coupled with their low power requirements, these transducers enable sonar arrays to operate for extended durations - a game-changer for autonomous unmanned platforms.

iBULe has developed specialized transducer designs harnessing these single crystal advantages. Their ultra-broadband hull-mounted sonar could grant European navies an edge in anti-submarine warfare.
