They will also be able to manipulate different features of the home, such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The resulting home valuation report will give users a price range and ranking on their home, based on data from public records such as tax polls, recent neighborhood sales activity, and MLS data.
Home value estimator tools are driving factors in lead generation strategies for the modern real estate industry. These engines can be customized to ask for the user’s contact information. Typically, home value estimators will ask for the email address of the person who will receive the report, and it can ask for the name and contact phone number associated as well. This data can give the realtor the information they need to market their services to these potential sellers. For the broker, the AVM will be able to send a daily report regarding its searches. This data can then help brokers convert those website leads into clients through a more targeted marketing strategy.
