HMG Pop Up Paper Extends 3D Paper Engineering Into New Wholesale Stationery Lines

Hanoi manufacturer introduces pop-up business cards, affirmation cards and structural invitations while updating how it evaluates customer outcomes and expanding international trade engagement.

-- HMG Pop Up Paper, a Vietnamese manufacturer of custom pop up cards, is extending its paper-engineering techniques into three stationery categories for wholesale buyers: business cards, affirmation cards and structural invitations.

Founded in 2013, the company designs, cuts and hand-assembles three-dimensional paper products at its Hanoi facility. Its new categories apply folding mechanisms previously developed for greeting cards to corporate stationery, gifting and events.

“Every one of these lines came from a client conversation, not a boardroom,” said Hana Phung, co-founder. “Buyers kept holding our pop-up cards and asking whether we could do the same for their stationery.”

New Products for Trade Buyers

The expansion includes business cards wholesale buyers can customise for professional introductions, along with structural invitations that unfold into three-dimensional displays. The company says early inquiries for affirmation cards wholesale have come from wellness and gifting retailers in the United States.

Each product category draws on HMG's existing design and assembly process, combining digital preparation, paper cutting and manual construction. Buyers can discuss branding, structural concepts and production specifications with the manufacturer.

The three additions are intended to broaden the applications of established paper engineering techniques.

Measuring Customer Outcomes

HMG says it has changed internal reporting to place greater emphasis on repeat orders and feedback from business customers rather than production volume alone. Production teams now receive information about how completed orders perform in retail, promotional campaigns and events, according to the company.

“A factory that only measures output optimises for output,” said Nguyen Xuan Chung, co-founder. “We wanted our assemblers to know whether what they built actually worked for the person who ordered it.”

The company maintains that manual assembly remains important for consistent movement and presentation of intricate paper structures. Its production process includes mockups, digital design, cutting and hand assembly.

International Trade Engagement

HMG reports attending Alibaba.com's CoCreate event in Los Angeles in September 2026, following its participation in 2025. The company says its earlier appearance generated more than 60 qualified commercial inquiries and led to discussions involving The Shark Group. These commercial outcomes are company-reported and have not been independently confirmed.

The trade events allow prospective buyers to examine physical samples and discuss construction details directly with the manufacturer. HMG also publishes factory information and product examples on its website.
