Futurewood Announces Launch Of New Website

North Victoria-based Futurewood offers quality, value-added alternatives to traditional timber products. The new website displays the options and ideas for sustainable eco-cladding, decking, fencing and screening products.

Futurewood and David Elms are pleased to announce the launch of their new website. The company has been operating in the North Victoria area for a decade, and the new website will help to display their products and services in a more attractive and accessible way. The aim of the company is to develop and market sustainable alternatives to rainforest timbers currently used within the building industry. The eco cladding, decking, fencing and screening products provide improved performance in specific building applications and help to reduce the dependence on precious timber species. They look like wood but offer a range of additional features making them great value for money.

In a recent interview, David Elms of the Ringwood firm ( www.futurewood.com.au ) explained, “At Futurewood we are dedicated to providing you with quality, value added alternatives to traditional timber products. We think that timber looks great in a forest and ideally it should stay there. We have been supplying quality composite timber building products for projects large and small all over Australia since 2007.”

“Our supply model has been continually honed over the last ten years, and in 2016 we introduced a new and more efficient direct supply model: he continues. Our new supply model has allowed us to deal directly with the public and large commercial builders alike and take full advantage of the greater efficiencies of our state based warehousing and delivery leading to better value products and improved levels of service."

Futurewood CleverDeck and EnviroSlat products ( futurewood.com.au ) look like timber but are made from recycled polyolefin (plastic from post industrial waste), rice husks and recycled hardwood timber, so they are much more ecologically sustainable than timber. Futurewood decking, fencing and cladding materials are quick and easy to install. They come in standard lengths and do not require regular maintenance.
