Vanessa Leto has gone through a lifetime of struggles since growing up in South Gate, California. Her parents worked constantly to care for the family, but that left Vanessa and her siblings to their own devices. This led her to drugs and making reckless choices. It was not until finding a youth outreach program at a local church that things started to become clearer about the option of making more positive lifestyle choices.While volunteering in this program, Vanessa changed her life. She became focused on networking and helping others who were walking similar paths to what she just left. It was also at this time she met her husband, Sal. After several years of being friends and dating, they wed in 2010, and welcomed two children over the next two years. The two high-risk pregnancies left Leto depressed due to overwhelming health complications, so Sal took a break from his job to tend to his wife and children. This is how working from home became a necessity for Leto and her husband.
During her recovery, and her husband took every opportunity they came across to make money from home to help them recover from their overwhelming debt. This allowed the Letos to network with others who were in similar situations, as well as those who used to be in that situation but found their way out. They learned from every mentor they encountered, and now run a successful mentorship and online lifestyle brand called FortifiedMind. Vanessa is proud of where she is today and loves how she has the ability to help others out of similar situations as she’s gone through.
