Flood Services Canada (www.FloodServices.ca), a leading quick response company for water damage remediation, is excited to announce that Steve Sym has joined their team as the new project manager. Sym will be bringing a wealth of experience from working with some of Toronto and Vancouver's largest fire and water damage restoration companies for the past 20 years. —
"We are very happy to welcome Steve to our team. He is a great addition because not only does he have more than two decades of experience, he's worked with some of the biggest players in fire and water restoration," explains Chad Vanvari, owner of Flood Services Canada. "That includes companies like Onside Restoration and Global Eastern Management in British Columbia and Dryit.ca from here in Toronto."
As a project manager for Flood Services Canada, Sym will oversee remediation projects from their initial phase straight through to completion. He will also be responsible for ensuring remediation technicians adhere to all relevant industry, health and safety, provincial, and federal guidelines and professional standards.
“We look forward to seeing how Steve can help improve the success and compliance of Flood Services Canada’s operations,” Vanvari says. “We pride ourselves on having some of the best remediation specialists on our team, who are readily available to handle any project that comes their way, and Steve is no exception.”
The specific specialties that Sym will bring to Flood Services Canada include water damage remediation, project management, job costing, and Xactimate—a comprehensive approach to formulating property damage estimates.
