First Response Disaster Team is a locally owned, family operated full-service restoration company based in Edgewater, Florida. As long-term residents of the area, Ken and Anne-Marie are very community oriented. First Response is a member and Ken is a past president of the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce. Ken and Anne-Marie are also involved with the local Kiwanis Club as well as the New Smyrna Beach Board of Realtors and the Volusia Building Industry Association. Both enjoy contributing time and energy to many of the worthwhile causes these organizations support.
Ken is a Certified General Contractor and licensed Mold Remediator in the state of Florida, which means they can provide a “one stop shop” as far as restoration, remediation, and restoring the property to its original condition. Ken also holds certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, Applied Microbial Remediation, and Carpet Cleaning through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC,) an industry training and certification organization.
