With state-of-the-art glass lenses and Wide Dynamic Range technology (WDR) ensures that the best video quality is incorporated. The most important feature of any auto dash cam is the clarity of the captured footage. Lighting conditions ranging from high noon to starlit nights can be obtained with equal finesse and clarity.The quick mount bracket system makes mounting and dismounting the unit fast and easy. The mount is equivalent to a docking station. The power cord and GPS stay attached. The power pins allow the user to hook and unhook the unit without any need to unplug the cables.
The four-inch capacitive touchscreen ensures vibrant color which permits the user to see what the camera is seeing. The touch screen also ensures that navigation through the menus is easy and intuitive. Changing the settings is fast and accurate. When the vehicle powers on, the unit is automatically ready. Touch HD shuts off when the vehicle is turned off. The incorporated GPS software allows for coordinates and speed to register on Google Maps.
A long list of additional features makes the Falcon unit attractive to any vehicle owner. Some of the things that are outstanding include the gravity sensor which protects against being overwritten in the event of a sudden jolt or vibration. Another protection against overwriting is a locked clip feature. There is a motion activated record feature and parking security function, even when the vehicle is off. The wide angle lens provides 170 degrees of visibility with minimal fish bowl effect.
The Touch HD allows the user to enter the license plate number of the vehicle. A genuine 32GB SD card is included. HDMI 1.3 output makes the footage visible on any HDMI-ready television.
