Inspired Marketing broadcasts episodes of "The Money Pillow", which offers detailed biographies of successful “lifestyle entrepreneurs” and their businesses, provided by serial entrepreneur and show host, Sean Malarkey. —
A lifestyle entrepreneur is an individual that creates a business with the purpose of altering their personal lifestyle and not for the sole purpose of making profits. They focus more on the life rewards provided to people that enjoy and have a passion for what they are doing. There is a possibility that the business will do particularly well since the individual has a passion for what they are doing.
Malarkey explained, “Most entrepreneurs feel an incredible drive to succeed, and end up confusing efficiency and effectiveness. They end up getting bogged down by the daily tasks which drains them of creative energy and prevents them from seeing the bigger picture. Any time I find myself performing task list type activities I ask ‘How can I automate this’, ‘How can I systematize this’, or ‘Is there someone else better suited to handle this’. Those simple questions allow me to preserve my creative energy and discern the forest from the trees and seize the larger opportunities that most people miss.”
Malarkey is not alone in this belief.
New York Times best selling author and the possibly the most well-known lifestyle entrepreneur, Tim Ferriss stated,“Few people choose to, or are able to, measure the results of their action and thus measure their contribution in time. More time equals more self-worth and more reinforcement from those above and around them.”
The show has received positive reviews, and is now a top rated podcast on iTunes.
“Here's the thing about Sean Malarkey - he simply has the gift of being able to help you understand the somewhat complicated concept of self worth in regards your time and income. Many of us assume we have it figured out, if we spend X time doing Y than we'll get Z result, but the equation has changed. The one main lesson that you'll benefit from listening and learning from Sean is that trading time for dollars isn't the way to go. You need to find your residual income solution” stated Sean Vosler, CEO of Membership Manifesto.
Andy Drish, Co-Founder at The Foundation said, “Sean consistently over-delivers in this podcast. It's full of incredible stories of people building automated business. Definitely worth subscribing to.”
