Vohidahy Forest Restoration Project, Madagascar
Madagascar is home to some of the most biologically unique ecosystems on Earth, and one of the most threatened. The Vohidahy Forest Restoration Project regenerates degraded forest landscapes, restores habitat for endemic species, and provides income to rural farming families who plant, monitor, and care for the trees over time. Every seedling becomes part of a regenerative cycle that benefits both biodiversity and the people who depend on the land.
