Elnita Ottey, LCMHC, is a trauma-focused therapist, speaker, and mental health leader advancing accessible, evidence-based care. She is an EMDRIA-certified EMDR Therapist, nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trained in Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS), specializing in attachment wounds, complex trauma, and dissociation.
She integrates neuroscience, emotional regulation, and relational healing to improve outcomes across clinical and community settings. She also serves as Parenting Engagement Coordinator for The Academy of Goal Achievers in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she leads family-centered mental health initiatives. Elnita is a frequent speaker and educator on trauma-informed practices.
