The rebrand creates a clear distinction between the property's two signature experiences:

- FunCity will continue as the property's family-focused entertainment brand, including its indoor amusement center and outdoor waterpark attractions.

As part of the rebrand, several well-known amenities across the property have received updated names:
- Catfish Bend Inn & Suites is now Great River Hotel
- CB's Iowa Store is now The Gift Shop
- Catfish Bend Convention and Event Center is now the Great River Event Center
Guests will also experience an enhanced digital presence as part of the transition. The new branding reflects the resort's commitment to providing a seamless experience for visitors seeking gaming, accommodations, dining, live entertainment, conferences, and family attractions in Burlington.
Adding to the excitement surrounding the launch, Great River Casino Resort will host its first major concert under the new name when country music star Gretchen Wilson performs on August 21, 2026. Additional event details and ticket information will be announced soon.
