-- Elaine Warga-Murray, an educator, entrepreneur, speaker, and community association management professional, is launching a new seminar series designed to give women practical strategies for developing professional influence, credibility, resilience, and sustainable careers. The program, being introduced through E.W. Murray Consulting, draws from more than four decades of work spanning filmmaking, education, property management, entrepreneurship, speaking, and expert-witness assignments. Initial seminars will focus on New Jersey, with plans to expand into Pennsylvania and other regional markets.
The seminar series builds on a career that has repeatedly involved entering new professional fields, learning unfamiliar disciplines, and translating that experience into teaching and mentorship. Warga-Murray earned a master’s degree in cinema after completing her undergraduate studies in 1970 and later worked in filmmaking and television, including documentary production and operations management for a cable television studio. She subsequently taught filmmaking and mass media at the high school and community college levels before moving into property management after receiving training in the field.

That transition became a significant part of her professional development. Her subsequent work included founding and leading property management companies, managing large portfolios, developing educational materials, and mentoring professionals pursuing industry credentials. She has also written numerous professional articles and produced training programs for community association management organizations.
The seminars draw from those experiences through structured sessions addressing specific professional situations. Planned subjects include navigating imposter syndrome among professional women, building resilience and reducing the conditions associated with burnout, developing influence and persuasion skills, strengthening personal brand, embracing change as a business strategy, and managing career responsibilities alongside family life. The sessions are being developed around practical professional outcomes, including visibility, performance, career satisfaction, well-being, productivity, sustainability, and leadership development.
Additional seminar discussions may address communication, negotiation, professional credibility, decision-making, leadership, mentorship, and workplace relationships. These subjects reflect lessons Warga-Murray has developed throughout her career, including the importance of listening carefully, communicating with precision, preparing for difficult conversations, documenting decisions, understanding different professional responsibilities, and developing trust through consistent conduct. The series may also explore how professionals can continue learning, build relationships before they need them, and share knowledge with colleagues and emerging leaders.
“The lessons that have stayed with me came from having to learn, adapt, communicate, and earn credibility in several different professions,” Warga-Murray states. “I want the seminars to give women useful tools they can apply to their own circumstances, especially when they are making important decisions about their careers.”
Her experience with professional education extends well beyond the seminar series. Warga-Murray has spoken at state and national conferences and has developed training materials for industry professionals throughout her career. Her work as an expert witness and consultant through E.W. Murray Consulting also involves examining professional standards, documentation, operating practices, and industry procedures, adding another dimension to the foundation of the new educational program.
Family and professional development also shape the perspective she brings to these sessions. Warga-Murray raised two children while managing professional responsibilities and has spoken about incorporating family considerations into her working life. During her years in property management, she introduced workplace arrangements intended to accommodate employees with children, including supervised space during school holidays and provisions for new mothers with infants.
“Career development has to leave room for a person’s life, relationships, and responsibilities,” Warga-Murray remarks. “Professional credibility can grow through the way people communicate, negotiate, make decisions, and treat others, and those skills can be developed throughout a career.”
The seminar series extends Warga-Murray’s longstanding involvement in mentoring and professional education into a recurring public program. Through E.W. Murray Consulting, her work continues to include expert-witness assignments and speaking engagements, while the new seminars provide a dedicated setting for sharing career strategies with women at different stages of their professional lives.
