The award recognizes educators, leaders, and changemakers who demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning while contributing to positive progress across education systems.
Dr. Raelene Haugen, with 30 years in education, founded Raesup Educational Consulting to advance innovative STEAM, concurrent-subject, remote-learning, and experiential-learning models. As an award-winning educational leader, author, public speaker, and leading remote-learning researcher, she champions practical, inclusive, and globally focused education.
She has worked internationally throughout Asia, Africa, and North America, creating and introducing courses that integrate cultures and languages. Drawing on her role as a parent educator for her own children, as well as her observations, research, and educational vision, she authored her dissertation, “Remote Learning - The Future of Education: Effective Instructional Strategies Used by Parent Educators and Recommendations for Building Capacity.”
