With 30 years in education, Dr. Raelene Haugen established Raesup Educational Consulting, championing innovative STEAM, concurrent-subject, remote-learning, and experiential-learning methods. As an award-winning educational leader, public speaker, author, and leading researcher on remote learning, she emphasizes practical, global, inclusive education. She has collaborated internationally, particularly in Asia, Africa, and North America, developing and introducing courses while blending languages and cultures.
Drawing upon her experience as a parent educator for her own children as well as her observations, research, and vision for the future of education, she wrote her dissertation, “Remote Learning - The Future of Education: Effective Instructional Strategies Used by Parent Educators and Recommendations for Building Capacity.”
Through Raesup Educational Consulting, Dr. Haugen has worked on developing approaches that integrate remote learning, experiential methods, and interdisciplinary instruction. Her work has focused on creating learning environments that reflect global perspectives and support varied educational needs.
