-- Dr. Lilian Alevato, Chief Medical Officer at White-Wilson Medical Center, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, received the ‘Excellence In Healthcare Award’ at the Spring Edition of Health 2.0 Conference. The event, held from March 4–6, 2025, at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, honored professionals driving change in healthcare. With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Alevato has shaped healthcare delivery in internal medicine, cardiology, and geriatrics. Her expertise spans compliance, quality, utilization management, case management, and population health. Over the years, she has consistently driven systems that center on value-based care and patient safety.
Dr. Alevato has led several healthcare organizations across Florida. She served as Chief Quality and Compliance Officer at MSOs and Hospital Medicine Groups. She also held the role of Chief Medical Officer at one of Central Florida’s largest MSOs, where she focused on improving clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
Her credentials highlight a long-standing commitment to clinical excellence and system-wide improvement. She holds respected certifications from the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP).
Her subspecialties include transitions of care, managed care, and physician advisory. In addition, she has served as a CMMI Peer Leader for the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) Advanced model since 2021, promoting coordinated, cost-effective healthcare delivery.
