-- Dr. Daniel C. Roth, Owner & Medical Director of Summit Pain Management, was honored with the “Excellence In Healthcare Award” at the Health 2.0 Conference. The three-day health and wellness conference was held from April 7–9, 2026, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, USA. The recognition was presented to professionals who demonstrate leadership, clinical excellence, and impactful contributions in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Roth has been practicing comprehensive, interventional pain management since 2009. He completed his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Subspecialty Training in Comprehensive Pain Management at Northwestern University’s prestigious Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, routinely ranked #1 by US News and World Report.
Dr. Roth owns and operates Summit Pain Management, a national leader in pain management, serving the population of Northeast Indiana. Dr. Roth has served on the Board of Trustees for the Indiana State Medical Association. He was also an expert and leader in the co-authoring of the opioid prescribing guidelines for the State of Indiana. Dr. Roth is married to his wife Courtney, and they have 7 children. When not at work, he remains active in the Ft. Wayne community, collaborating with area leaders to promote positive community growth. Dr. Roth enjoys attending and rooting on his children at academic and sporting events. He is also an avid sports card and memorabilia collector.
Commenting on the recognition, Dr. Roth stated, “I am truly grateful to be considered and recognized for this award. However, the recognition does not belong to me. It belongs to each and every member of the Summit Pain Management family. Taking care of patients who may not have received the understanding and compassion they need to improve their function and quality of life is what we do, and I believe we do exceptionally well. Truly, it is a “we” effort. So, I graciously share this honor and recognition with each and every member of our team. It is only through their consistent effort, hard work and dedication, that I am here today.”
